The Holy Bible, and only the Holy Bible, is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant and authoritative Word of God. Christ's Church is a fellowship:
|
| |
Christs' Church exists for six basic purposes based upon the acronym WAFERS:
|
Everything we do during a Christ's Church worship service is based on the Holy Bible and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
We minister to God
Each service begins with joyous songs of praise, prayer, and worship by all the people. Out services are led by the Holy Spirit who has free reign to alter the format and content of our services as He wills.
We minister to people
We pray for the sick, comfort the hurting and sorrowful, encourage the weak and weary, reach out in love to those who need the touch of a friend.
We minister the Word of God
The proclamation of the Gospel comes after individuals have opened their hearts to God and turned from themselves to others. Only then are they truly ready to hear and benefit fully from the Word of the Lord.
