1 Confess Jesus as Lord
To accept Jesus, you must say that “Jesus is your Lord and that you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead.”
How can God raise Jesus from the dead?

I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord. I believe with my heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. I receive my salvation. I thank you Lord Jesus for saving me. |
2 Repent of Sin
The next step is that you must recognize that you are a sinner or have been separated from God and ask for forgiveness.
Bible Reference: Psalm 51:5
Say the following:

I repent of my sins and I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I receive that forgiveness. I thank you Lord Jesus for forgiving me of my sins. |
3 Ask Jesus into your heart
The next step is to ask Jesus to come into your heart and live with you. When Jesus comes into your heart, this allows him to start guiding you and helping here on earth before you go to heaven.

Say the following:

I ask you Lord Jesus Christ to come into my heart and live with me. I receive you in the name of Jesus. I thank you Lord for coming into my heart. |
4 Obey God’s Word
Obedience to God’s Word is the only way to stay in constant fellowship with Jesus and live a successful life. To learn more about Jesus, read about Jesus in the Bible.
5 Follow Jesus
Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior. You will need some help understanding what is means to be a successful Christian.
